Prospecting, in most instances, is very similar to searching for a soul mate. Whether looking for a potential business partner or personal companion, one usually has a premeditated, preferred description of that person, and is almost always able to spot them in a crowd.
No matter what, the same luring tactics can be used for either.
The common denominator is, you want to be sexy! I don't mean in the wild, flirtatious, seductive ways that are generally popularized. I'm talking about the mature, inviting, arousing characteristics of sexy; confident but vulnerable at the same time.
Did you know that sexual energy is the most powerful energy man possesses? And when controlled properly through sexual transmutation, it can be used in helping you achieve whatever you desire, including success?
Nobody wants to be "prospected", but everyone wants to be desired. Here are a few sexy tips that will help you get better results when approaching someone about your business.
1. Be patient. Understand that you can't, and shouldn't rush greatness. It doesn't matter what "promotion" your company has going on, when you're too pushy with a prospect, they'll see you as needy and will more than likely deny any offer you present to them.
2. Be confident! I can't stress this enough. There's nothing more appealing to a man or woman, especially a professional, than confidence. Be sure not to confuse this with cockiness, because just as clear as you're reading this, one can spot a cocky-self loathing network marketer a mile away. Good eye contact and poise is enough to get your point across
3. Ask permission. Simple phrases like, "would you mind if I kept in touch" or "what's your email, I'd love to keep in contact" ways to extract the info you need. Being polite is always more attractive than being manipulative any day, even if you're successful at it.
4.NEVER GO FOR THE WHOLE PIE IN ONE BITE. Just like in relationships, it's best take it slow. I suggest always asking for the email first, 99.9% of people will say yes.
If your prospect doesn't offer their number afterward, they're probably not comfortable with you yet.
Don't worry, that will come. In the mean time, since you have their email, you have an opening to build on that relationship. After that, it's only normal for them to provide their number if they're serious about doing business.
The whole idea is to become just as attractive to them, as they are to you. Apply these 4 tips the next time you go prospecting, and see how turned on get. For more on Network Marketing Success, visit http://www.wheresyourcheese.com.
